Psychiatry is categorised somewhere between the natural sciences and the humanities – presenting this subject with a major challenge as well as a great chance for building
bridges between the fields of philosophy, mythology, religious studies and the history of art on the one hand, and medicine, psychology, neurophysiology, genetics and physics on the other
hand.
